Just chose to use the Y-axis because of the way I had my table setup. But either would work the same just have to switch the setup to the X instead of the Y. wolf I have the X-50 woodworker and so far I’ve been really happy with it, machine is super solid. The linear ball bushings and ball screw setup is imo the best setup amongst the hobby machines. Ball screws offer better rigidity, load ratings, accuracy and repeatability vs belts.
